Your Trainers
Prof Lucia Anelich of Anelich Consulting:
With a PhD in Microbiology and after several decades in food safety practice, covering academia, industry associations and the private food production, manufacturing and retail space, Lucia has experienced first-hand the significance of the human element in food safety and in particular, leadership.
Lucia has worked with leaders who take food safety seriously and it is evident in everything the organization does, including the simple gesture of greeting a worker, who beams at the acknowledgement. Unfortunately, she has also seen the opposite, where a person in a leadership position, creates an environment of fear and suspicion where there is a complete lack of trust between members of a team and in leadership, resulting in several types of food safety failures.
She realised that in partnering with a credentialled and internationally certified coach (Lee Griessel) and building on her successful Food Safety Summit, Lucia and Lee could share a totally novel approach that would truly positively impact the food industry and that goes beyond the technical. She is thrilled with this partnership and looks forward to sharing her idea of a systems approach to food safety with a focus on the human element, drawing on her many years of experience.
Lee Griessel from Vyanzo:
Lee is an accredited COMENSA master coach and an internationally accredited Executive Coach (ACMC), NLP Practitioner and experienced Facilitator and is a registered member with the ISNS, MCF, COMENSA and the ICF. She specialises in developmental and transformational coaching of individuals and teams.
Lee has worked in various environments supporting Executives and their teams and is passionate about supporting them with mindset and belief change concepts as well as facilitating their own discoveries of how these can be applied and implemented to get meaningful change.
Lee has run her own coaching practice since 2007 and in addition to the 17 years of coaching experience, Lee has more than 25 years of experience in the Corporate, as well as small business environments where she held various senior Leadership and Management roles.
Lee is delighted to have the opportunity to partner with Lucia to support the industry with this totally novel course that would truly impact the food industry in a positive way.
